Three Cheers for #sheetpancrecipes ๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿ“ฃDin Three Cheers for #sheetpancrecipes ๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿ“ฃ๐Ÿ“ฃDinner doesnโ€™t get much easier than tossing veggies & protein on a pan and roasting! 

This meal was a big hit last night at #familydinner, and a few of you sent DM's for the recipe. It's hardly a #recipe ๐Ÿ˜‚ but here we go!! Give it a save for the next time you need a #weeknightdinner

Chicken Thighs with Cruciferous Veggies & Sweet Onions ๐Ÿง… ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Ingredients: 

4 Chicken Thighs from @belcampomeatco (they came marinated in lemon juice, sea salt, pepper, lemon peel, garlic, onion, turmeric)

1 Head of Broccoli. Cut into Florets
1 Head of Cauliflower. Cut into florets
1/2 Sweet Onion sliced thin
1/2 Avocado sliced thin
Bed of greens ๐Ÿฅฌ 
โฃ

1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF. Cover your sheet pan with parchment paper.
โฃ
2. Toss the onions, broccoli & cauliflower florets , in a large bowl w 4 TB Avo oil and a couple pinches of salt & pepper. Scatter the veggies, onion & chicken on your sheet pan and place it in the oven for about 28 minutes, rotating the pan and tossing the vegetables halfway through.โฃ 

3. THEN the magical stepโ€”Broil on high for 2 -3 minutes to get the chicken skin crispy!! Make sure it doesnโ€™t burn

4. When done, scatter the veggies and chicken over a bed of greens and serve w/ sliced avocado and a drizzle of Truff Sauce @sauce for some spicy ๐Ÿ”ฅ heat!! DELISH ๐Ÿ‘Œโค๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

#intuitivefasting is one of the books on my night #intuitivefasting is one of the books on my night stand. Anyone else? I'm a longtime fan of functional -medical expert Dr. Will Cole, and I was curious about trying his four week intuitive fasting plan. Truth be told, I've never been big on fasting for long periods of time...

For that reason, I'm headed into this book from a place of #curiosity, #flexibility , and ignoring the perfectionistic tendency to get it 100% "right". 

As Y'ALL know, I enjoy daily exercise, {AND food ๐Ÿ˜‹!!} And when you exercise alongside of extreme fasting, it puts undue stress on the body. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Particularly the adrenal glands + hormones.  Especially if you are female! ๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธI've suffered the consequences, of adrenal fatigue, feeling wired, and hormone imbalance, and they aren't fun. 

For that reason, it's important to be mindful, bio individual and intuitive with fasting. Everyone has a different thresh hold!!!!! Take some time to find yours through experimenting or working with a coach or dietician. 

I naturally fast about 14-15 hours Monday through Thursday, and it takes very little effort. Meaning I try to finish dinner around 6:30p and then I eat breakfast around 9:30a. It's not a hard and fast rule--but I live this way 75% of the time, and it feels very easy & intuitive.
