Making time for important relationships & friendsh Making time for important relationships & friendships in your life is not frivolous!! It’s essential ❤️

Strong, positive relationships are as essential to our health as diet & movement and just as important as being productive at work! 

I know it’s so much easier to say you don’t have time, life is too crazy, or you will plan something “soon”...but do yourself a favor and invest in your relationships! They are so good for your heart, mindset & soul! 

Today I had the pleasure of a delightful walk in the sunshine with Zander followed by a game of HORSE (I got schooled BTW😂). Zan and I are both “busy bodies” often fluttering in our own orbits...if I don’t consciously make an effort for us to connect, we will literally just be 2 ships sailing by each other day in and day out. 

Same with my girlfriends 👯‍♀️ 👯‍♀️
Yesterday we FINALLY made brunch happen, and it was just so nice to be together and belly laugh! We see each other on social media and quickly at school drop off, but it’s just not the same!! 

I keep reminding myself that #savor is my intention for 2021 -and making time and space for friendship is a big part of how I would define savory experiences!! So this is #livingmytruth 

Furthermore—-As humans, we are naturally social creatures that crave some capacity of physical connection 

Do yourself a favor and see if you can schedule some 1x1 time with someone you love this week! It’s like therapy, it’s like a breath of fresh air, it’s fun and it’s definitely not frivolous!!!

It has been a busy week over here #coaching clients, and I'm so #grateful 🙏🏻for the chance to effect positive change in the lives of so many! 

In my 1x1 coaching sessions, we work really hard to create #sustainable daily practices that are #enjoyable, #resultsdriven and most importantly focused on "winning" your long game!

✨Maximizing the quality of your life ✨is one of the very best gifts you can give yourself. And if you can find joy in the journey, that's icing on the cake 🎂 🥰

Finding enjoyment in anything, really comes through meaning. Everyone has their own reason why movement, or running, or drinking a green smoothie, or breathwork, or daily walks is important to them. 

To stay motivated, you simply need to keep "your why" top of mind. 💯

Maybe you run everyday in hopes that one day you qualify for the Boston marathon. Maybe you are diligent with your yoga practice to increase flexibility and mobility so you can play with your kids with more agility. Maybe breathwork is important, because you have a really stressful job and it's the best way you can process a hard day at the "office". 

Maybe you consistently drink your smoothie because it's an easy routine that simply makes you feel good! 🙌🏼

The key to any transformation is awareness!! You are capable of amazing things. It starts with awareness, inspiration and deliberate actions. Let me know if I can help!

Y’all need a quick/easy #plantbased dinner for t Y’all need a quick/easy #plantbased dinner for the kids?! This is my go-to when I don’t feel like preparing dinner. #ithappens 🤪

Zia and I Made this #organicgreenlentilpenne + #organicbroccoliflorets in #onepot for total of 8 minutes!! You can’t even order takeout that fast!! 

Once boiled, we simply added a little salted ghee + pesto, and sautéed cabbage mix And it was delicious!! 

The bonus 🎉 It’s an #easy #lowfuss meal with #cleaningredients #veggies and #fiber 🙌🏼

I know what some of you are thinking....”my kids would never eat that”, and with that mindset you are 💯 correct. BUT..if you can approach feeding your family with #curiosity and a willingness to try new things {and fail along the way}. I promise you can get there!! 

By the way—it was Zia’s idea to top our pasta w sautéed cabbage mix 🥬 🥰. I was floored and so proud 🥲🙏🏻. 
This comes from a Mac n cheese loving 2 year old who refused veggies on the daily!!

And I’m so excited to share the details with you ❤️🙌🏼..It’s delicious and seriously has a MAJOR amount of veggies, fiber & protein, but it tastes like a milkshake 🙌🏼🎉 Plus—when you drink this for your AM meal, you are getting more veggies in before 12p, then most people get all day, or even all week 🤪. Try it and see how it changes your energy levels, your blood sugar & sugar cravings, plus your state of mind!! I find I’m #calm #energized #balanced and #bright 🥰💯

Super Extra Green Smoothie 
1/2 banana (frozen)
1 C fresh spinach 
1/2 C butter leaf
1 handful zucchini spiral
2 celery stalks
1/4 Large avocado 
5 mint sprigs 
1 scoop @ancientnutrition #chocolatebonebrothprotein 
1 TB hemp seeds
1 TB cacao nibs
1 packet @foursigmatic #mushroommatchalattemix 
2 C almond milk

I have 7 simple, positive eating habits that have big health benefits! Swipe left for meal ideas for each suggestion 👌

1. Add an Avocado 🥑 💫Let’s be honest, this is my fav tip!
Delicious 😋 and a nutrient powder house filled with healthy fat, fiber, potassium, magnesium and may even increase your good cholesterol (HDL). Enjoy sliced avo on your kale salad, spread it on toast or blend 1/2 an avocado in your smoothie! Avocado 🥑 is also super yummy in Avo/cacao mousse for a healthy treat!

2. Opt for plant based protein a couple times/week! 
Embrace legumes, lentils, nuts, quinoa and roasted veggies over meat 2 dinner per week. Plant based meal prep is crazy fast, and you are fueling your body with fiber & protein, reducing inflammation and supporting your heart health! ❤️🙌🏼

3. Make a habit of eating raw organic nuts! Go nuts and gain fat, protein, vitamins & minerals. My favorites are pistachios, Brazil nuts and walnuts!

4. Add a veggie to every single meal!!🥑🙌🏼🥒🥗. This tip is another favorite, but seriously—eating more veggies is likely the single most impactful habit you can create!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼💯👏🏻👌Aim for 7 servings/day and see how it effects your energy level and mental well-being

5. Eat berries for breakfast! 
Berries are an amazing form of antioxidants known to reduce inflammation, high in Vitamin C, high in fiber, high in water content =hydration. And they are low in sugar! 🙌🏼Add 1 C of berries to your smoothie, chia seed pudding, GF oatmeal or enjoy with unsweetened yogurt! 

6. Add an egg!
Eggs are natures’ perfect food!! They contain all essential amino acids your body needs for optimal health, they are inexpensive and insanely fast to make!! We usually enjoy eggs 3x/week! 

7. Embrace cacao as a daily ritual! The high quantity of Magnesium & fiber lends a natural calming effect, which may improve your sleep schedule! It’s also said to improve circulation & cognitive performance! Select a cacao that is DF, at least 75% cacao, and isn’t sweetened with cane sugar for maxi  benefit! I love Nativa organic cacao powder & cacao nibs!
