It’s #yummy, it’s #fiberfilled , it’s sturdy—-meaning it won’t get wilted 😆 and it’s easy! 🫶🏻🙌🏼🤗💥🎉

As your getting your kids ready for #backtoschool —don’t forget to prepare for yourself as well 💗You deserve it 🫶🏻

The simple act of #mealprep is gifting your future self a nice little #nourishingmeal —-Grab a large salad bowl, & hop to it w this #easysaladrecipe 🙌🏼 It lasted me 3 lunches!!!!!

🥗4 C shredded kale
🥗2 C shredded green cabbage 🥬 
🥗1 C shredded radicchio 
🥗1 C shredded Brussels sprouts 
**you can buy all of these pre shredded at the grocery store if chopping isn’t in the cards 🃏 
🥗 1/4 C endive rough chopped
🥗 1 green apple 🍏 cubed
🥗 3 C organic lentils 
🥗 1/4 C pumpkin seeds

Massage the salad w 4 TB of EVOO to soften, then add @tessemaes lemon vinaigrette on top!

Protein consumption causes the release of peptide YY, a hormone that helps to regulate your appetite for the rest of the day!!! By starting w a savory breakfast you are #settingyourselfupforsuccess 🫶🏻💥⚡️🏆

In contrast…Ever notice how after you eat waffles for breakfast you are starving and exhausted at lunch time?! 😆It’s because…

 1). There isn’t enough protein to pump the brakes on your hunger hormone AKA #ghrelin ****unless you add protein & nut or seed butter to your batter 🙌🏼

2) the sugary mix of carbs and syrup will spike your blood sugar then suddenly crash it—-hello headache, unstable mood, unstable energy 

Def Not how you want to rock a #monday! 
Yes—we love a sweet breakfast too, but…..Save it for a holiday/—not a #dailyroutine

Intuitively we all have an inner knowing of what makes our hearts ♥️ sing. It’s usually intertwined with sharing our unique gifts & talents with the world. 

Somewhere along the way we often learn to ignore our gifts, or talk ourselves away from sharing them bc they aren’t “enough”. 

Maybe today you ignore the notion of being enough, and simply lean into the things, activities, pastimes, people, places and food that sparks ⚡️ #joy in your heart and in your life.

I hope 🤞🏻 that by taking action towards your joy (of any magnitude) it lights up your day, your week, your month and eventually your life 💗⚡️💥🫶🏻😊
How do I get my kids to eat more vegetables 🥦 🌿🥒🌶🥑🥬🌽?!?!

It’s a question 🙋‍♀️ I hear from clients, friends, family, and strangers at restaurants….The answer is simple 💥CONSISTENT EXPOSURE💥
continuously repeated (more often than not) 
It’s not always easy, in fact many days it felt impossible and defeating.  I’m sure you can relate! Maybe even on your own personal #healthjourney 

Instead of giving up, I dug my heels 👠 in and found new and different ways to offer the same veggies 🥗 
Raw, sliced, cubed, roasted, grilled, marinated, seasoned, stir fried, boiled, hidden in egg muffins or pasta 🍝 or rice or anything!!!, blended in smoothies. Overtime I learned the cadence of what veggies were tolerated, and eventually enjoyed!!!! It felt like a huge win 🏆 and still does! 

I’ve been at this 9 yrs!! If this is a new #veggie adventure give yourself some grace!! 🤗❤️

It takes trial and error!! 
It takes effort!
It takes exposure—-the more your kids have experience with vegetables, the less foreign they become! 

Invite your kids to shop for veggies, to prep veggies, to be creative with veggies, to select recipes for the #familydinner❤️

Super flavorful, seasonal & really easy! All you have to do is chop a few veggies, slice a large peach 🍑, top with pecans and drizzle EVOO on the top 🙌🏼

**I used EVOO infused w chili 🌶 + garlic 🧄 🤗 Bc I’m a #spicelover but any clean oil version will work! 

Pair this #salad w/ a couple grilled chicken legs 🍗 for a super easy, low fuss #balancedmeal
