#intuitivefasting is one of the books on my night #intuitivefasting is one of the books on my night stand. Anyone else? I'm a longtime fan of functional -medical expert Dr. Will Cole, and I was curious about trying his four week intuitive fasting plan. Truth be told, I've never been big on fasting for long periods of time...

For that reason, I'm headed into this book from a place of #curiosity, #flexibility , and ignoring the perfectionistic tendency to get it 100% "right". 

As Y'ALL know, I enjoy daily exercise, {AND food πŸ˜‹!!} And when you exercise alongside of extreme fasting, it puts undue stress on the body. 😳

Particularly the adrenal glands + hormones.  Especially if you are female! πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈI've suffered the consequences, of adrenal fatigue, feeling wired, and hormone imbalance, and they aren't fun. 

For that reason, it's important to be mindful, bio individual and intuitive with fasting. Everyone has a different thresh hold!!!!! Take some time to find yours through experimenting or working with a coach or dietician. 

I naturally fast about 14-15 hours Monday through Thursday, and it takes very little effort. Meaning I try to finish dinner around 6:30p and then I eat breakfast around 9:30a. It's not a hard and fast rule--but I live this way 75% of the time, and it feels very easy & intuitive.

I'll absorb what feels good in my body, and leave out what doesn't!! Basically how I approach everything in life πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸŽ‰πŸ’•
