Super Bowl Snacks That Won’t Set you Back!

Are you ready for some football?!?! Woo hoo!

To be honest, I’m not a huge football fan, but I’m totally Pro Super Bowl. Mostly for the commercials and the yummy food! In case you are still building your menu, take a look at these flavorful, delicious options! With these Paleo, Super Bowl snacks on the menu, it doesn’t matter who wins, because YOU are totally winning the health game!

Nothing screams Super Bowl more to me than Nachos!! Am I right? But these are special nachos! Y’all get excited!!! Nachos in a Cast Iron Pan = WINNING! What’s even better is these Siete Grain Free nachos are paleo and dairy free and you won’t know the difference! Jean developed this amazing Paleo Cauliflower Nacho Cheese that you will want to eat with a spoon!!! AND it’s super easy! All you need to do is blend and add to the skillet!

You could also plan to serve the Paleo Nacho cheese on the side and sub in VIOLIFE Cheddar Shreds to the cast iron. Violife shreds are dairy free and melt like a dream come true!

Crispy Baked Buffalo Chicken Wings by Paleo Running Mama

These crispy baked buffalo chicken wings are easy to make, healthy, and ridiculously tasty!   They're  paleo and Whole30 compliant and perfect with Whole30 homemade ranch dip. Perfect as a healthy appetizer, Super Bowl snack or with a salad for dinner! #Whole30 #Paleo
Buffalo Chicken Wings by Paleo Running Mama

Paleo Running Mama’s recipes never disappoint! But seriously, y’all will LOVE these Chicken wings! Chicken wings scream Super Bowl to my husband, so I have to have some form of these on the menu. They are super easy to make, and taste like the real thing, but they are baked, paleo and Whole30! Plus our kids like them! Instead of her home made dipping sauce, I cheat and use Tessemae’s Everything Bagel Ranch Dressing! Serve along side celery, carrots and watermelon radishes for a colorful spread!

I get our organic chicken wings at Trader Joe’s. There is barely any fat on these lean machines! Plus they are ice glazed so you can bake them directly from the freezer without defrosting first! The 2 lb bag of wings barely feeds our family of four so double up if you have a larger crowd! If you are feeding an army, Cosco makes a gigantic 10 lb Ice Glazed Chicken Wing bag in the freezer section.

Green Tahini Dip with Radishes and Celery

Speaking of dip, this green number is a great option for your veggie spread! It’s healthy, green and includes a combination of my favorite flavors! Tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon zest, herbs & jalapeño. Plus it’s by Chef Seamus Mullen!!! I feel like I sort of know him since I listen to GOOP fellas every week. So this is sort of like sharing a good friend’s recipe (ha!).

The spice level is pretty mild to appeal to a wide range (and our kids). But add a few diced jalapenos to kick it up a notch!!

You can’t have the Super Bowl without avocado! In my opinion you can’t have a single gathering without avocado!! I love this spicy recipe! It pairs perfectly with Turkey Chili and Nachos!!
Char 2 poblano chiles over an open flame, turning. Let cool, then peel, seed and finely chop. Mash 3 avocados; stir in the poblanos, 1/2 chopped white onion, 1/2 cup chopped cilantro, 1/4 cup chopped roasted red peppers, the juice of 2 limes and 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
