
A refreshing green smoothie! Is there a better way to get back in balance? Delicious, creamy smoothies are one of my happy places, and my favorite way to start a summer day! As the temperatures rise, I tend to UP my smoothie game around here!! My body just craves the hydrating, nourishing mini meal.
Smoothies are super easy to make and a really effective way to consume your phytonutrients, fiber, vitamins, healthy fats and live enzymes! The reason I love smoothies for our kids is that I can easily disguise veggies, gut boosting protein and healthy fat with the natural sweetness from fruit.
Since we are approaching Memorial Weekend & summer!! {YES!} It feels like a good time to share some of the smoothies the kids and I have been making lately! BONUS:: They taste like a treat!!
Mint Green Smoothie

Chocolate Collagen Protein Powder (20 grams of protein)
Handful of fresh spinach
4 Mint Springs
1 Heaping TB cacao nibs
1 Persian Cucumber
1/4 Large Avocado
1/2 Large Banana {frozen}
3 TB Hemp Seeds
1-2 Cups of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and top grain free granola!
Coffee & Greens

2 scoops collagen peptides (18 grams of protein)
1 Cup Frozen spinach
1 packet of Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee
2 dates
3 TB Hemp seeds
1 TB Cacao Nibs
1 TB Coconut Butter
2 Cups Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and top with Bee Pollen or Wild Way of Life grain free granola!
Sweet Green Kiwi Smoothie
Vanilla Collagen Protein Powder (20 grams of protein)
1 Cup Frozen Spinach
2 Kiwis {peeled}
1/2 Banana
1/2 Cup Frozen Organic Blueberries
2 TB Cashew Butter
1-2 Cups Almond Milk
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and top with fresh blueberries and shredded coconut!
Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie
Vanilla Collagen Protein Powder (20 grams of protein)
2 Kiwi
1/2 Cup Fresh Strawberries
1 Persian Cucumber
1/2 Cup Fresh OJ
1/2 Cup Almond Milk
1/2 Avocado
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and top with fresh blueberries and shredded coconut!
Peachy Green Smoothie
*Saved the best for last!

Vanilla Collagen Protein Powder (20 grams of protein)
2 fresh peaches {remove pit}
1 date {remove pit}
1 TB Cashew Butter
1/4 Avocado
2 Cups Fresh Spinach
2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 TB Psyllium Husk Powder (fiber)
1-2 Cups Almond Milk
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and top with fresh mint a couple shakes of cinnamon, pink salt and shredded coconut!
