Who is ready to celebrate Father’s Day this weekend?!?! If you’ve been here a while, you know that celebrating is one of my favorite things. Thankfully we have two pretty amazing Dad’s over here to shower with gifts… And by gifts I mean good food! HA! We all know that’s the true way to their heart.
Max is the leader of our pack, our pea pod, the Fun one and the rule breaker! He works tirelessly for our family every single day, and he loves doing it!! We are so lucky!
My Dad taught me unconditional love, generosity + the importance of giving back, and cultivated my curiosity in the kitchen! My Dad has literally never used a recipe in his kitchen, and let’s just say the acorn didn’t fall to far from the tree 🙂
In case you are looking to shower your Father with a delicious Father’s Day lunch, linner or dinner– I’ve got you covered!
We plan on heading downtown to Carpenter Hall for brunch, {went there for Mother’s Day–AMAZING!!!}…. Father’s day dinner will be a casual affair at home. Lounging around the backyard in our swimsuits and flip flops–just how we like it!
Father’s Day Menu Ideas
Grilled Branzino! by Feasting At Home
Y’all don’t let the image fool you! Grilling a whole fish is incredibly easy and sooooo delicious. It’s seriously one of our favorite meals, and perfect for summer. I love this herby recipe because it’s flavorful, light and so satisfying.
Ask your fish monger to gut the fish and prepare it for the grill. This way all you have to do is season it, prepare your herby mix and grill it!!

Carnitas Tacos by What’s Gaby Cooking–featured on Camille Styles
Super delicious, well balanced meal that will tantalize your Dad’s taste buds on every level! Seriously so so good!

Stove Top Ribeye by Munchkin Time
This one’s the way to my Dad’s heart. Simple, tender and delicious. For more Father’s Day Steak Recipes–head to Epicurious.

Slow Cooker Korean Short Ribs
This recipe is an old staple recipe in our home. Everyone loves it, it’s easy to prepare and the tender meat literally falls off the bone. I love the subtly sweet simmer sauce so much!! I use it for chicken marinade as well.

Roasted Wild Salmon with Citrus by Camille Styles
Looks impressive, but is actually pretty easy! We are big salmon lovers around here, especially along side of fresh citrus. You can enjoy it over rice, in a taco shell, in a leaf of butter lettuce, a top a fresh green salad. So many options!
