Chocolate Mama Maca Smoothie

This smoothie is for the Mamas out there!! {unless you are pregnant or nursing–in that case skip the Maca!} The flavor is delish y’all; rich, creamy, chocolatey, and tastes like a chocolate milkshake.
What is Maca you might ask? Maca is a superfood, and cruciferous vegetable used to balance hormones, flush out bad estrogen, enhance fertility, strength, and endurance. It’s also a great form of fiber, protein, magnesium and acts as an adaptogen that can help you manage stress.
Like any supplement, itโs best to start with a small amount until you know how your body reacts. Two tablespoons is a standard daily dose, but starting with 1/2 teaspoon is a good idea!!
If you are a coffee lover, this smoothie is also really yummy with cold brew coffee as the liquid base. Use 1/2 Cup Coffee and 1/2 Cup Almond Milk for a little extra coffee buzz!!
