Banana Cinnamon Roll Smoothie with a cinnamon scroll, dates and cinnamon sticks in the background

You know when you want something sweet, creamy and yummy, but you don’t want to derail your clean eating with a big ole slice of cake or a make a mess baking paleo chocolate chip cookies?

I know I’ve been there!! That’s when you fall back on a naturally sweet, EASY, balanced recipe that you can make in minutes –with no mess!!

A sweet treat smoothie!

Lucky for you, I have two smoothie recipes that will curb any sugar craving!! AND no oven or mixing bowl required.

First up is the Cinnamon Roll Smoothie. Our kids love this one!!! It’s a healthy version of a sugary, sweet, gooey cinnamon roll in the form of a “milkshake”. This smoothie is made from whole food ingredients, contains no added sugar or sweetener and even includes protein!! You can enjoy it as much as you want, without any guilt!

See the recipe below, and enjoy an afternoon treat!!

Chocolate Mama Maca Smoothie

This smoothie is for the Mamas out there!! {unless you are pregnant or nursing–in that case skip the Maca!} The flavor is delish y’all; rich, creamy, chocolatey, and tastes like a chocolate milkshake.

What is Maca you might ask? Maca is a superfood, and cruciferous vegetable used to balance hormones, flush out bad estrogen, enhance fertility, strength, and endurance. It’s also a great form of fiber, protein, magnesium and acts as an adaptogen that can help you manage stress.

Like any supplement, itโ€™s best to start with a small amount until you know how your body reacts. Two tablespoons is a standard daily dose, but starting with 1/2 teaspoon is a good idea!!

If you are a coffee lover, this smoothie is also really yummy with cold brew coffee as the liquid base. Use 1/2 Cup Coffee and 1/2 Cup Almond Milk for a little extra coffee buzz!!
